Covid-19 Update

The Wilson Contracting team would like to confirm that have a permit to operate as an “Essential Support Service” to the agricultural sector.
 

We appreciate the Covid-19 level 4 restrictions and acknowledge there are some very real and serious responsibilities that come with continuing to operate.
 
We will ensure that management and staff play their part to ensure we are minimising any risk to each other, our customers and the wider community.
 
To help minimise the risk that comes with “Business As Usual” operations, Wilson’s have implemented the following:

  • Keeping our operators isolated within their vehicles/ equipment and where possible eliminating any contact.
  • Our contracting yard and office will be closed to the public until further notice
  • Where contact is deemed essential, minimum 2m distance measure must be maintained.
  • All operators will be equipped with hand wash and hospital grade virkon spray in their vehicle/trucks to enable them to spray/ wipe down surfaces and sanitise their hands
  • Operators will be limited to individual machines where possible and strict cleaning and santisation will be carried out prior to any swaps.
  • Admin staff will be working from home with key operational staff working at the office in isolation of each other.
  • Any customers are asked to eliminate all personal contact with Wilson’s staff.

Stock/Bulk Driver - 16th Aug 2018

Stock/Bulk Driver

We are currently seeking a suitable applicant to drive our 600HP Mercedes swap body unit.
Experience in stock cartage is essential with a clean driving record. A wide and varied range of work is offered as is excellent remuneration to the appropriate applicant.
Duties may include but not be limited to livestock, bulk materials, woodchips, feed supplies, coal and transporting.

Tractor Driver - 16th Aug 2018

Tractor Driver

We are currently seeking a suitable applicant to operate one of our late model Case tractors in all aspects of cultivation, and baling.
Experience in the operation of all cultivation equipment and McHale Fusion balers is preferred with a clean driving record. A wide and varied range of work is offered as is excellent remuneration to the appropriate applicant.
Duties may include but not be limited to ground preparation, baling, muckspreading, earth scoops and seeding of crops including fodderbeet. Other duties may include truck driving and farming.
We would prefer permanent but would consider fixed term for the right applicant.

We have good quantities of post peelings and wood chips available at the moment. These are great for calving pads and calf sheds. As well as landscaping.
